The truth behind the "After 6 Diet"

We have heard from different celebrity endorsers that one can lose weight if you don't eat after 6 pm. This isn't exactly a myth and researchers can't say that it's absolutely untrue. There are circumstances that may contribute to its working on people who are, let's say junk food addicts. Not eating after six would definitely benefit them because their salt and calorie intakes would be reduced. But if you beleive you can eat with no holds barred the whole day and just stop at 6pm, then you have to rethink your diet. the key to good eating habits is getting proper nutrition from balanced meals. Even eating several light meals a day is all right. It is the daily caloric intake, not any evening curfew, which determines weight loss or gain.

The Advantage of Being Healthy

For me, beinghealthy is not just being physically fit but also spiritually fit. In my opinion, the advantage of being spiritually healthy is that you are very assured that someone is leading you to the right path. Our faithfulness to God helps us to become physically and mentally healthy. Our faith makes us healthy by the grace of God. Sometimes we get sick but our Faith will bring us back to good health. If we value our spiritual health, we also value our physical health, and then we experience living life to the full. We should value our physical health for the sake of the people who love us, especially this Christmas! Remember, Always stay healthy!

Folk Dance

My son participated in their school presentation of an Ifugao Dance. The country of the Ifugao in the southern part of the Cordillera region is best known for its famous rice terraces, which in modern times have become one of the big tourist attractions of the Philippines. They made these terraces with the use of only their hands and simple tools. The Ifugaos typically build their houses at the edge of their fields. A distinctive aspect of these houses is the post just below the floor beams to keep rats from climbing into the house.

I bought native vest which is a traditional Ifugao suit. We made an improvise weapons to match with their costumes. Their teacher hired choreographer to teach them steps for folk dance!

Healthy Living

I am happy and contented with my lifestyle. Even though it's not possible for me to have another child after my major operation due to my AdenoMyosis, a uterus infection. I'm glad that i'm lucky to have a son which is so kind and god-fearing. I am a vegetarian and i eat all kind of veggies even "alog bati" and "saluyot" which are quite unpopular to everyone. I love making salads and vegetable dishes. I am not a pure vegetarian becuase i eat meats too but i always make sure i balance everything.
I drink milk in a daily basis after my work and before going to bed. I make sure that i'm doing all these healthy habits everyday. Living a healthy life means to live longer. You are highly resistant against diseases and cancers.
Have a great day and Happy healthy living!
